Being in the Romance package I wanted to try a new author..something different. I like fantasy romance, but not all of it…this was much more enjoyable than I ever expected.
Riley is a bounty hunter with a ‘mature woman’s body’! which she uses to her advantage and yet you know she is sensitive to being a bigger woman. Her grandma and mother both were treated badly by men so she is very leery and untrusting…she has a vid imagination when putting men in their place and isn’t afraid to taser or pepper spray.
She is abducted by alien traders…this is where she meets Vox, who recognizes her as his mate.
Between lack of full communication, Riley wanting to go back to Earth…aliens who basically worship her because of her bravery (actually fear covered up by smart mouth) we go on a fun filled argh out loud ride with sweet and tender moments.
The narrator did a great job with the humor and sweetness of the story.
Give this a try if you’re looking for pure entertainment and an escape from everyday life.
