Protecting the Prince is an enjoyable, a little angsty, story about Ajax and Prince Ryden. With the prince studying in the US, Ajax is assign as his bodygaurd. The two unlikely pair somehow end up falling for each other while Ajax attempts to keep Ryden safe. All is fun and games until Ryden has to go back to his country when an assassination is attempted on his father, the King. Ryden’s parents want him to marry a nice woman and have an heir but Ryden doesn’t want that and is afraid to tell his parents about himself. Ajax refuses to go back into the closet and resigns until something happens to make him reconsider. I think Ajax and Ryden are good for each other as long as they can live openly.
Narrator Austin Jay does a marvelous job.
