This book has some of the most emotional and often clueless women/teens as protagonists I have ever read of. Granted, for at least half the book they go through hell, but these women never make use of anyone who could answer their concerns, be they counselors, doctors, police, or lawyers. You would think at least one of them would be written with some common sense. Nope. I guess that’s an ingredient for a good story, though, and this book is one.
