Just when you think the twists are over here comes another. Free from most litrpg tropes, this book just feels so original and it’s refreshing. The beginning had me worries that the protagonist was a little too dark but the protagonist just kept second guessing my evaluation of him. If I were to refer to the protagonist is old school rpg terminology “chaotic good” would probably be the best description and everything about his character is just so well developed and fleshed out that he is just plain believable and its just so satisfying. Can’t wait for the next part of the story to be on audible.
