Wow. I just finished this book, and I can’t decide if I should immediately re-read it or move on to the other books that take place in this universe. SO GOOD.

I’ve already reviewed the other books in the Paradox P.I. series, and they’re all great, but I think this one might be my favorite. Probably the most complex story in the series, but not in a way that is difficult to follow. It also answers questions that were set up in the other books in a very satisfying way.

Note: I didn’t realize that there were other books in this same universe until I’d already begun the Paradox P.I. series, so there may have been a more appropriate order that I should have read all of the books in, but the author does a great job of letting the reader jump in at any point they choose. That being said, I’ll do my best to recommend an order once I’ve read the other series: “In Times Like These.”

At any rate, whether you want to read all of Nathan Van Coops books that take place in this universe, or you’re just interested in the Paradox P.I. books, do yourself a favor and pick up this series.
