I’m not really sure what the point of having The Critical Drinker narrate a single character was, except that he is no professional narrator so I’m glad he wasn’t narrating two characters. But anyway the main narration was still very good.
I think this entry in the series was better than the second entry. More creative world building and some character development, and the actual idea of The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook (The book with in the book, that is), is pretty fun.
I still don’t like the extreme overuse of the expletive GD, and have dingged it a star in the story category as I did for the other two books because of that alone.
The AI’s snark has seemingly ampped up a level, which can be pretty entertaining. The AI is really developing as a character with opinions, and those opinions are showing themselves in ways both subtle and gross.
