The world built by Effie Calvin was so good. It has all the things I want in fantasy. Queer princesses, dragons, Gods and Goddesses literally present and affecting people’s lives directly… and so on.
Esofi was called a fat person, as an insult. Her inner insecurities were there but despite that, she was made to be both powerful and lovely. Her commitment to her wanting to be the next Queen of Ieflaria, defeating dragons and bettering the world was so high. Also, uhmm… she have such high belief on her Goddess to the point of being blind to other things, which were written in a comedic style. I even laughed at some of them.
Adele on the other hand was the useless princess. But uhmm, she has a good heart, so that balances her dynamic with Esofi.
