This novel is, by far, one of the most suspenseful novels I’ve read this year. The lead character, Thomas Caine is presented in first person writing style. The other notable and unforgettable characters are written in the third person. This author is so talented in his writing style which reaches perfection. His short sentences and descriptions, simply written, make you feel, see, and become almost an active observer.
