I liked this story enough. The one thing that bothered me was all the “foreshadowing”. Ex. “He would’ve said more if he knew he’d never see her again”. “If she knew what lay ahead, she wouldn’t have turned left.” “Had he only known what events would happen next.” And so on and so forth. So much so that it got annoying. And redundant. Other than that, pretty good read. So much so, I purchased the second book.
