I’d recommend it but it does suffer some from what seems to be the author’s desire to simply make a longer book. There are whole chapters that deal with some emotional, drawn out conversation between two characters that could’ve been covered in maybe two paragraphs.
Then there’s the odd inclusion of the woman preacher putting her blessing on homosexuality. Not sure why that was even thrown in there unless it’s purely some personal thing the author felt she needed to put in there.
