So the story in this book was decent, not necessarily one that knocks you off your feet and has you on the edge of your chair. The characters were like able and the story was written in a manner that kept it interesting enough to keep listening. If this was my first post apocalyptic book, or I didn’t listen to a lot of these stories, I probably would have thought it was fantastic. In in terms of those kind of books it was kinda vanilla, not much in terms of creative survival or common sense in some ways. The characters and the narrator made it work though.
