The last chapters, following chapter 20 or so, were the best part of the book. Much of the book dragged on. The premise that Jane and Elizabeth were born of Mr. Bennett’s first wife, was most unbelievable. The premise that no one knew they were granddaughters of a Duke was also unbelievable. The title of the book does not seem to go with the plot. The second Mrs. Bennett was particularly horrible and did not receive just punishment for her treacherous behavior. There is an unusual twist with Charles Bingley.
