Villians Rule review.
The main character is a asshole, but a interesting asshole. If he wasn’t so competent, and smart I would completely hate him. Instead he interests me. The story itself is like a very well rewritten self insert fanfic except the main character gets knock out enough to show the character isn’t invincible. genre mixing is interesting. The narrator brings distinctive voice to all the characters.
The cultural references are on point. Author knows their fantasy genre. I liked the characters and the story. I would recommend it.
