Definitely VERY suspenseful in parts.—My heart rate absolutely skyrocketed for a portion of it at one point.
I haven’t read any of the other books from this series, or by this author, so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. It wasn’t quite what I’d anticipated, but the story was well written. Quill’s character was absolutely hilarious! My biggest complaint was that the actor (no offense) cannot do accents to save his life. Every single one sounded like a culturally offensive, poorly done Asian accent of some kind. (Yikes). Black’s weren’t much better, tbh. But beyond that, I did enjoy the story for the most part.
