Lowkey was caught off guard by the long foreword, but listening to it all was well worth it to get the backstory of the story and what went in to bringing it about. Highly recommend listening to the full foreword if this your first time listening to this audiobook.
Overall I highly recommend this book.
As for the actual story, I really enjoyed this story. I really liked the way the ‘Santa’ role is passed down and his friendship with Father Time. I also love the interactions between the father telling the story and his children, Mr. Moogan did a great job conveying the conversation.
I also liked the imagery of Father Time and Santa walking up the hill. Was really well done and engaging, and further enhanced by Mr. Moogan’s narration.
