the narration is very well done and engaging for the story. However, the story itself us really nothing more than a mash-up of Starship Troopers meets Full Metal Jacket. By so closely mirroring those stories this one because a tired cliche that has it’s fun moments but all 8n all is easily forgettable. I listened to this while exercising and doing yard work and it was a good fit for that. Now that I’ve gotten to the end of it I’m not sure that i care enough about the cookie cutter characters to continue with the rest in the series, although who knows there is a long summer of cutting grass coming up and the next book on the series might get a chance then.
