I received this book for free from the author / narrator / publisher, in exchange for an unbiased review.
From the synopsis, it sounded like the character is already well established in previous book and this book is a prequel of that series, giving us the origin story. But nope. Turns out this is the first book of the series. (well, technically "Book 0.5"). So, the series is starting with a prequel??
Anyway, as you would expect, it gives us the origin story of the character that is going to play the main role in the books yet to come. The character is written in an interesting way and looks like it is going to get a lot darker and intriguing. But this book felt quite short and the story sounded unfinished, I guess the author is using this book as a starter pack for the main books of the series.
