I loved this book. Extremely enjoyable and entertaining. My 3 favorite things:
1. Phil Thorn did an amazing job with Blain’s characters and cadence.
2. Harry, to me, was a perfect mix of Detective Lieutenant John McClane and Argyle, from that Christmas movie nobody remembers. Barefoot, bloody, and brave, with impeccable comic relief, Harry was my favorite character. I was most inspired by the hero’s choice of his handler, stoked Harry didn’t die, and felt a better understanding for Sol’s personality with this organic friendship.
3. I love a good villain…and Tenebris is great. I really enjoy when, near the end, you truly wonder if you are rooting for the wrong guy and, no regrets, I look forward to his powerful manipulation over me in the coming books.
4. This book opened my eyes, or ears actually, to Hunter Blain’s Preternatural Chronicles of John Cook. I wanted to review Dawn’s Light yesterday as soon as I finished it but I could not put I’m Glad You’re Dead down.
Officially a super fan, long live Tyger!-Katy Lamers
