As other reviews have stated this series is a “page turner”. The first book starts off a little slow but really picks up ~1/3 of the way into it. However once it does pickup it does at a run and does not stop and I mean it does not stop at all. The pace this story moves is kept through every subsequent book and this is the biggest strength of this series. The pacing in each book and how the author keeps that going from one book to the next really allows you to stay engaged throughout the entire story so far. You are always invested in the conflict that is going on and the conflict that is on the horizon. The story and characters are interesting and fun but the pacing is really the strength here to the point where if it was to slow down I do feel that the story would really suffer for it as it is that break neck, action packed events that allows you to sit back and enjoy being swept along.
The narrator is awesome he did a great job in making each of the characters sound unique. I enjoyed him so much that I have started looking at other books he has narrated.
