Entertaining story, but nothing new here. Quick listen with decent narration. I will only listen to book 2 if it shows up on the Plus Catalogue. So: worth my time, but perhaps not my money…

Reminiscent of After Sundown by Linda Howard, which was a more positive take. And The End Of Days series by John Birmingham. which was much fresher and really well done.
