I’m new to the LitRPG. I really enjoyed this book. The stakes are high both inside the game and in real life. I think how it’s different in that it’s a post-apocolyptic world, where the poor can’t afford to go anywhere cool and are stuck mining inside the game. Everything that happened in this world was believable. I really enjoyed the flashbacks/dreams the main character had. By the end, it threw in a surprise, but it was well set up, with plenty of foreshadowing in the novel previously, but it still caught me by surprise. I really enjoyed it.
