I loved the first 2 books. the 3rd one was a little odd but over all still good, he’s completely missed the mark on this one for me though. from the weird mix of both misogyny and feminism that doesn’t translate well to the poorly written love scenes and everything in between. including but not limited to the dumb decision to make the games influence on his psyche all in his head and dealing with the same struggles he’s gotten over multiple different times already there was very little of this book I enjoyed. I put it down with 5 hours left simply because the story has strayed too far from what I enjoyed in the series up until this point
