I really like the premis the story is built upon. Mother Nature taking corrective steps to thinning out the heard. Granted it was never stated that way in the story.
What I did not like was what I felt was an over use of flashbacks. That interfered with smooth progression of the story.
Still did buy the book and the Audible but sorry not a give star review.
