Many GameLit books can come across cheesy or insincere. War Aeternus manages to stay aware of itself, and pokes fun at the cringey things some other books do. The story was thoroughly enjoyable, the characters were believable, and the narration was on point.
Now, pardon me, I’m off to start book number two!
