What an absolute GEM. I just adored this quick, yet very rich listen. I’ve read books thrice as long that didn’t get as much character and relationship development as this story had. And the dynamic between the voice actors was just <> (and I never use that phrase). Bastone has a way with her characters that makes you feel the emotional intimacy as if you are one of the MC’a yourself. She somehow captures such beautiful specificity and nuance that makes you truly feel like you are spying on a real love story. Stop reading the reviews. Just go do yourself a favor and download and listen immediately. Just wonderful!
