I think that now it’s official that Lily Morton has become an auto buy author to me. I loved this super sweet and cute Christmas charming and enchanting tale of love, grief, and not giving up. And then the narrator of the audiobook is THE Joel Leslie, so you know this can’t only be even better. And it was. Joel brought to life this incredible story of Barnaby, a man in the brink of losing everything when an old god grants him a favor in the shape of his favorite statue come to life for 5 days, just until Christmas. Cosmo is the sweetest statue ever and he is very funny, but what I loved about him the most was how caring he was towards Barnaby. He has seen him for years when he found solace talking to the statue. Cosmo knows Barnaby and wants to care for him and help him not lose everything. The story wasn’t long and in its shortness, it managed to convey all the emotions and it brought a big smile to my face. I never wanted it to end!
