I really enjoyed the audiobook. The voice actor had a voice that reminded me quite a bit of Sterling Archer from the Archer cartoon. He was quite a bit more serious than that but there was still a lot of humor in the story. The book is a spy tale with quite a few twists and turns. The agents are cyberneticaly enhanced and most of the characters involved are more than just humans. If you want a good action packed spy tale this is entertaining. Not gonna give you anything too in depth but that’s what the genre is.
The only real issue I had was the voice actor is awful at accents and early on this bothered me a bit. His British accent sometimes sounded Australian and sometimes vaguely Russian. The Italian accents weren’t good either. I got over that and didn’t even notice them after a while. I think audiobook is a great venue for this novel though and I was entertained throughout.
