This was my first foray into Mark Goodwin novels. As a Christian I really loved the biblical references and the fact that the story didn’t have foul language or graphic sexual scenes. The story was well written with excellent character development. I cared about the characters and I experienced sadness, joy, and excitement throughout the story. I also appreciated that this story, while fictional felt firmly rooted in reality and realism. I will definitely be checking out more from Mark Goodwin. I highly recommend this if you are a Christian and support a conservative view of how good moral people should be prepared and live according to God’s word.
