This book is horrible. I don’t know how anyone can pretend that the pedophilia is not a real issue. The fact that this man loves her does not make it okay that he is molesting an 8 year old girl. She did not receive love from her parents, so she found love in a man 12 years older than her, who then grooms her and molests her until he’s finally convicted of rape. So sad how many people are dismissing this as love.
