This book tugs on your heart strings to make you think that what is happening between Wavy and the much older man she is in love with because he “loves and cares for her” is romantic and normal, but then you remember that he met Wavy when she was a little girl. She is only 13 years old when Aunt Brenda catches them in his shop doing inappropriate things, and then she waits for him until he gets out of jail because that’s the only family she’s ever had.

It gives me the ick. It grosses me out.

I believe this book is pedophilia disguised as a love story to be sold to the masses because it’s sad! It’s heartbreaking!

No. It’s gross. She is a child. No matter how mature they depict her, SHE. IS. A. CHILD.

I wasted one credit and hours of my life to this book I’ll never get back.

Yuck.
