The ailiens are ridiculous bad entertaining, and the unlikely group inadvertently chosen to battle for the existance of the human race are a good match. The inner monologues of the characters, and their awareness of narration are very deadpool-Ian (I made that up, I think) and made me laugh more than a few times. If you want a book that doesn’t take itself seriously this is it. I do need to mention that I requested this book and have left this review voluntarily in the hopes of helping someone decide if it is a good fit for them.
