This book wasn’t a struggle to finish. The story was a struggle to TOLERATE. Mostly it was the main female character that I struggled to tolerate. She was written with the intent to infuriate adults. And she really did. I had hoped for some redeeming qualities later in the book but they never came. She had absolutely no depth to her character, no decent back story, all I could tell from the other two main characters was that they wanted her because she was hot. You could tell it was a very shallow desire. The thing is is that the two main male characters were alright and actually likable. Their mutual desire for this ridiculous excuse for a girl/woman knocked them down several pegs though. The thing is – this girl was written accurately. I know actual women/girls like her. The most shallow and basic of desires. The sex scenes were hot. That was good. The story was quick and to the point. But again, no depth. The female narrator was so good at portraying the main character it almost infuriated me more. She was so petulant, haughty, and ridiculous.
*sigh* Anyway. If you want hot sex and are just a little bit dirty – then yes. Go ahead and read this. But don’t expect any depth to the characters and expect to be pretty annoyed from time to time.
