The MC is so indecisive and constantly second guesses every decision. His goal is to get enough power to survive but he is squeamish and refuses to make choices to further his goals. Also, the story moves very slowly at times. Sometimes three chapters go by for a single day to pass. It’s worth a read, just keep your expectations tempered.
