There’s nothing like an over dramatic narrator that will kill a book. I understand reading with emotions but they need to let the reader experience it for themselves as well. The MFC is in constant dire straits, always on the verge of tears then goes full blown anger, that’s it. Does she have a normal tone? I can only listen for so long as it turns into a cheese grater.
