I try not to leave any spoilers in reviews, with that said the one thing that could have made this series better was Kenzie being downed in the first series. She was the most annoying character in series one and became annoying in this series.
Aside from that this was a good follow up to the first series. It actually had me considering my faith and how I could be a better person. As well as inspired me to begin listening/reading the Bible.
Again the narrator did an excellent job, he doesn’t have a huge number of voices to pull from and that is understandable as he is not a voice actor.
One thing I did not enjoy compared to some other survival books was the world wasn’t painted as clearly. That may be due to leaving it open for interpretation. Personally I am not a fan of it, I enjoy hearing the details so I can imagine it. Along those lines, the world became very big very quickly which makes it feel as if details are cut out or rushed a bit.
Despite that, this was an excellent series that had me hyped up for each chapter and the final showdown. (Which could have been a little longer, like Harry Potter final battle longer)
