This book was entertaining and overall a great fantasy for any age.
Following the story of a half elf princess who has been raised among humans, it switches from multiple first person view as she and her mother both must leave their home among men and hide amongst the mystics.
With interesting details of world building, a small character cast that has been well built, and promise of more to come, this book was really good. I would say any age reader would enjoy it, middle Grade onward.
My only remark on the book is that the multiple first person was, at first, hard for me to adjust to. I’m not sure why so, but the chapters do make it easy to keep track and the characters have their own development where it never feels forced or one sided.
It took me a bit to get used to the narrator but that’s pretty normal for myself. she did wonderful at having multiple voices and bringing the story to life.
I was provided a free version of this book in exchange for my honest review and opinion
