It’s a character development story – which is all well and good, but it just seems like the first 75% of the book took a really long time to get its point across. I get what the author was trying to do, and I don’t fault it. Part of the problem is that I’m anxious to continue the main story line and comparatively, much less actual plot development occurs in this side quest.
