Humans need a place to go. The space marines are the ones who will secure that location. This is the basic story in Mech Corps.
The book was very enjoyable. The narration was done wonderfully. Andrew Wehrlen has a great reading voice.
This book flips the script on traditional alien invasions of earth. Instead of us being the ones defending our planet, humans go out and try to take a habitable place away from other life forms. The dialogue in this book seemed a little more choppy and difficult than in the two "Fighting Iron" books. Not really sure why, but something just seemed a bit off. Other than that, I really liked this book.
