It pains me to have to do this, but this book is one star, due to the fact that it is literally only useful if you actually live in Beverly Hills. The advice is extremely specific to Beverly Hills. For example, specific tips for dining in specific restaurants in town, the implication that you’re constantly networking to “make it” in Beverly Hills. Almost every other line started with “in this town…” And there weren’t even any etiquette tips that could be applied to your own life. It was extremely specific to Beverly Hills. Literally the only useful tip that could be applied to a normal person, was to say please and thank you and treat others how you want to be treated. Everything else was very much Beverly Hills specific
