Not at any of the events in the story but how do you stop wondering what will happen to all of the friends you’ve made making the way through 10 books. With so many questions still left unanswered the fate of the country, what is Ricardo not yelling anyone about his past, will Barbe find someone she can love, will Connor ever get a chance to be home again, is any country still Americas all and who is going to lead the country out of darkness now that Lightspeed is gone. I have read many series all of which I have enjoyed but none of them have been able to keep me so immersed that it’s kept me from my regular life duties and and chores. The next book can’t arrive soon enough the only positive is I get to do some work around the house… Maybe because my next book has to be from Horton and why not with over a hundred hours of the Mad Mick I was never bored and never knew what was going to happen. I am not sure im ready to face life knowing Mad Mick and his friends are not waiting for me. Thank to both the author and narrator for keeping me so entertained. I thought Steve Brick was top notch but this narrator is king no one in his league. He could read the dictionary to me and I would be entertained
