As a standalone series this book SUCKS! This book only makes sense if you read and liked divine dungeon. The main character makes choices that make no sense based on the previous books. His sudden allegiance to the dungeon and the mountain make no sense based on the ease he walked away from his previous engagements. His doting on a single student (Dale) makes no sense based on his teaching style of raising the lowest first. Why would he take such an interest in a student with 6 channels and personally sponsored by the dungeon core? There are so many references to the other series that very little makes actual sense. This book reads as rushed and scattered with little to no bearing on the previous books. I’m incredibly disappointed.
