I only suffered through this because it was part of the overarching Infinite timeline, but it honestly felt like it could’ve been skipped.
This and “Torment” were two of the worst novels. Not because they were poorly written, even though parts of them really were, but because they were intensely boring.
No one is reading this novel series or author for the “human” aspect of said novels. The characters here were all so stereotypically angsty that it made them nearly unbearable.
