I admit that Boyd is one of my favorite post- Apoc authors and I love most of his stories but this story I really was drawn into the story of Wes and Jess and Grandma and Grandpa and of course, the dogs.. it had me totally caught up and what pissed me off was the ending!!!! That’s all I’m going to say to not ruin it for anybody else but man it takes a really talented author to make their readers this upset. Regardless, read and/or listen to this book . Kevin Pearce as always does an amazing job.
