If you’re looking for a story full of suspense or drama, this is not it. If you’re looking for a book that presents facts and lets you make a decision based on those facts, this is not it. If you’re looking for a book that lets you know from the beginning that the writer hates the guy that the book is about, this is it. Also, if you’re looking for a narrator who constantly puts the “H” before words like when, what or why (hwen, hwat and hwy), this is the book.
There is no doubt that Richard Decaro did this. None at all. But, rather than present unbiased facts, this author wrote about how a Sheriff knew he was guilty by meeting him or how he wouldn’t show emotion at his wife’s death and that proved his guilt.
Usually, if I use a credit for a book, no matter how bad the book is, I listen to it based on the principle that I’ve wasted a credit and I must finish this. I couldn’t finish this book. I tried but it was awful. Terribly written, terribly narrated and just overall terrible.
