I read books about serial killers because I’m interested in extremes. Extremely small, extremely large, extremely old or new and the extremes of human behavior. This book is particularly interesting for me because he behaves like a typical serial killer but didn’t have the early childhood environment that lends itself to their creation. Shawcross is the only killer I’ve read of that had his particular risk factors and the story is well documented and written. I’ll be reading more from Jack Olsen.
