Ryan Westfield’s EMP Survival series is one of the best in PA fiction. Well it’s only part fiction. If today is any indication, this kind of reality is all but a potential certainty. The characters of Max, Mandy, Georgia, John, Chad, and the others is thrilling and frightening. The farmhouse was at first a haven, but soon is crawling with outsiders hellbent on survival at all costs. This forces the core group to flee, while trying to keep their humanity in check.
Kevin Pierce brings his signature richness to the work. Brilliant as always, he never misses a chance to mesmerize readers.
