Flux is one heck of a wild ride. I started listening to it when I went out for my morning jog. And then as is often the case when I am listening to one of Robinson’s novels I kept saying ‘okay, I’ll just listen to one more chapter.” Which I then continue to say until low and behold I’ve reached the end of the book. The publisher’s summary does a good job of teasing what the book is about and I always try to avoid spoilers so I won’t go any more in depth into the plot. Just trust me you’ve never read/listened to a time travel adventure like this one. What I will tell you is that the book is filled an excellent cast characters (good and evil), plenty of action, and one heck of a storyline. Robinson really knows how to tell a compelling tale. When you start this book you may think you know where the story is going to take you, but you’d probably be wrong. I know I was. Jeremy weaves an absolutely incredible tale with more twists and turns than a theme park rollercoaster, once more proving what a master storyteller he really is.
The book is narrated by the incredibly talented Jeffrey Kafer. I think I’ve now listened his work half a dozen times or so, and he never disappoints.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
