I really liked the beginning of this book. The setup is worked out really well and throughout the book there are colorful conflicts. But about halfway through I started getting bored despite all this. This book has no narative. The characters don’t have goals. They just keep doing this thing and then that thing. Basically, this is not a story. Just things happening. I won’t be continuing the series.
