I admit I’ll listen to anything performed by Joel Leslie. He does a superb job differentiating voices and expresses emotions exquisitely. He did his usual stellar job on this book.

Alice Winters was a “new to me” author. I love MM romance, mystery and suspense and I got it all in this book. What I wasn’t expecting was the hilarious laugh out loud moments. At first it was just Felix being snarky, but it didn’t take much time at all for him to cause Lane to thaw out and become snarky and playful as well.

About half way through the book, I purchased book 2. Now that I’ve finished both the books, I’ve had to go purchase everything available from Alice Winters. Her writing is just that good. These books will go in my “listen to this again “ pile. They are great!
