This was a fast listen and quite enjoyable! They both work for a private security company and when Dalia gets a threatening email suggesting someone has been watching her and wants to hurt her, Troy doesn’t hesitate to jump into action. They end up on an island together while their security firm does what they can figure out who’s threatening her. Of course they’ve both been pining after each other for forever.
I loved how Dalia was the one to be forward in what she wanted and moving their relationship from coworkers to boyfriend/girlfriend. The suspense wasn’t a major part of the story but was entertaining. I really liked the banter between Dalia and Troy. And his possessive/alphaness.
The audiobook was good. No big issues. CJ is always amazing. First time hearing Connor Brown. Would have liked him to do a little more differentiating with his male voices.
